Fatemeh was honored to receive her bachelor degree from Art University of Isfahan in 2006. After working for five years in an environmental architecture office, she moved to the United States in 2011. She completed her Master of Architecture at the University of Detroit Mercy in 2016. Her thesis, titled "Promoting Physical Activity in Urban Design", aimed to improve the health and well-being of the population by proposing neighborhood design strategies that enable its residents to incorporate healthy living into their daily lives.

Fatemeh has been working with Detroit Collaborative Design Center since May 2016. She was glad to have the opportunity to do her co-op internship at the DCDC, the staff is like family to her.

Fatemeh is the third child in her family. She has three lovely sisters, wonderful parents and a loyal husband. She is Muslim and was born in Isfahan - a city in the center of Iran.
