Sacred Grounds in Detroit

Sacred Grounds Detroit is a program of the National Wildlife Federation (NWF) that promotes education of our natural spaces and the values of pollinator habitats in the urban setting. In the second year of this program, seven houses of worship in Detroit were awarded small grants to install pollinator habitats that were designed by DCDC via a collaborative group workshop process.

Partners: National Wildlife Federation, Citadel of Faith, Pure in Heart Missionary Baptist Church, St. Suzanne’s Catholic Church, Messiah Covenant Church, Galilee Baptist Church, Detroit Hope Community of Christ, International Miracle Gospel Tabernacle
